Make sure Microsoft Windows 8 release date
Microsoft finally gave the assurance that the operating system Windows 8 will be available starting October 26, 2012.
This announcement means that on that date the consumer should have been able to buy the upgrade to Windows 7 or Windows 8 Pro. The Upgrade will be available in the form of pieces or retail through weekly on the internet.
In addition, users will be able to get Windows 8 when buying a new computer devices, such as laptops and more from manufacturers who use Windows 8.
Windows 8 touted as next big bet for Microsoft. These operating systems are starting to introduce Metro which has the concept of interface far different from previous Windows interfaces.
In addition to Windows 8 for computer devices in General (x 86 architecture ala Intel and AMD), Microsoft is also preparing Windows for ARM architecture. Windows RT, it's operating system name, optimized for use on a tablet computer.
