Malware Spreaders Spam "Hitchhike" on Android

Technician (engineer) Microsoft named Terry Zink found malware types of botnet (robot network) that can send unsolicited e-mail (spam) someone on an industrial scale and internationally. These malicious programs work by utilizing Android devices.

Lays out the Zink botnet his MSDN blog.

Zink explains, malware that infiltrate in an application. At the top there is a caption that all e-mail messages sent from a Yahoo account, while at the bottom that reads: there the signature "Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android".

Zink believes there is a new form of cyber crime mode message spam that can access Yahoo Mail account from Android devices. Great again, spam messages posted on a large scale.

The perpetrators take advantage of Android devices as a pretext message sending spam, techniques that are often used when cyber criminals want to profit financially from their victims.

Since Yahoo! provides Internet Protocol address (IP) coming from email, Zink was able to figure out from where spam messages are sent. He tells the story, cyber criminals who send spam messages to himself never utilize IP address coming from Chile, Indonesia, Lebanon, Oman, the Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Ukraine, and Venezuela.

The country called Zink belongs to developing countries. He speculated, many Android users in those countries that download pirated apps from outside Google's Play to avoid purchasing paid applications. Or, they are tricked into downloading a fake version of Yahoo Mail applications.

Indeed Android allows users to download and install applications from anywhere. Zink suggested that users only download applications from the Android Google Play in order to maintain security.
