Yahoo and Facebook, this form of Advertising Peace Alliance


After performing each action plaintiff patents since last March, Yahoo and Facebook finally agreed to terms. Both will form an Alliance of advertising.


Ross Levinsohn, who is currently serving as the interim CEO of Yahoo, it seems nobody wants to continue his predecessor's obsessions are excited about suing Facebook. He resolved the issue of patents by establishing good partnership with Facebook.


The two internet companies will cross-license patents applied for and collaborate in the future.


"We are very enthusiastic to develop deeper partnerships with Facebook. And, I am grateful to Sheryl Sandberg and the team has been working hard with our team to realize a dynamic agreement, "Levinsohn said in a press release.


Chief Operating Officer, Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook also had a major role in negotiations and peace. He argues, Yahoo's new leaders are focused on innovation and can produce a good product for the user. "Together, we will provide a social experience for users while providing value for marketing," he said.


Patent war between the two started by Yahoo on last March. Yahoo feel harmed because of Facebook violating 10 patents technology that has been listed in Yahoo's United States (u.s.).


According to Yahoo, Facebook's rapid growth, however, based on the use of social networking technology that Yahoo has been patented. However, out of 10 patents, mostly, Filipinos refer to online advertising, including ways to ads placement and access method. Only two patents related to social media technologies.


Facebook sues back Yahoo in April. Facebook claims, precisely in violation of some Yahoo patents belong to Facebook.
