The support Microsoft's Windows XP has already lived a matter of days.

In 496 days ahead or to be precise on 6 April , 2014, Microsoft will cease all support, be it the update patches and security fixes, to more than 500 million users of Windows XP.

It is still quite a long time but the Windows XP users should immediately prepare to upgrade to Windows 7 or Windows 8 as well.

Because when this support ends in 2014, Microsoft will not provide an update at all. Thus, the Windows and the data in it will be vulnerable to attacks from the internet and virus.

Quoted from ZDnet, Wednesday (27/11/2012), some companies have started to offer packages to migrate to an operating system with a version of the above Windows XP. When the date of the "death" of Windows XP is getting closer, the price of the package increases predicted.

Network security company also predicted a profit can take a lot. They can set a high price for a security solution for Windows XP to companies who wish to continue using the operating system.

However, it is deemed to be too influential to Microsoft, given those operating systems it's old and it was decided will not be supported anymore.

According to Netmarketshare, there are currently approximately 50.5 percent of users who are already using Windows 7 or Vista. While users of XP already lived 40,7 percents.
