No Twitter and Facebook in Iran


Iran Government's strict Supervision also apply in cyberspace. Social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook could not have opened in the country.

Until now, the citizens of Iran are generally use some sort of ' rat ' in order to escape from government censorship. But now, many internet users reported Iran, such programs were no longer allows access to sites such as Facebook.

The network claimed ' halal ' later will restrict citizens from Iran, including the penetration of foreign sites Facebook and Twitter.


Iran authorities even oblige the owners of internet cafes there collecting information of their clients. If refused, business internet cafes that will be discontinued.
