Until When Will Android Open Source?

When last February, when Google was trying to done the process of acquisition of Motorola Mobility, emerging issues that Android in the future is no longer open source. These issues are increasingly in the media when santer CEO Hewlett Packard (HP), Meg Whitman, reveal it in public in the HP Global Partner Conference in Las Vegas, United States.

The issue is no longer open source Android also sounded a year ago when Google has also released the source code of Honeycomb. Many media mentions that no release source code of Honeycomb is one indicator that Google will use its powers to regulate how Android is used in the future.

Unlike Apple which sells the following iOS with hardware, both in the form of iPhone and iPad, Google Android does not sell. Conducted by Google since its inception is released Android source code to the public, allowing anyone to create their own version of Android and then sell it alongside the handset.

As with other open source projects, from outside of Android for Google seems to just love project-love the no fortunately. But in fact of every handset sold-anyone from Samsung's –, HTC, and Motorola--Google has gotten a little profit.

If you have a Smartphone Android, one feature that You must use is the search. Good search is typed with the keyboard, make use of voice recognition feature, as well as using handwriting--a newly released a few days ago--all of which make use of technology which is owned by Google.

Not only the search results, but also since the beginning of recorded sound or mencoretkan characters on the screen every Android handset truly has become a part of helping the survival of Google.

Another thing that must be in every Android handset is a Google account. Starting from the moment of registration of the handset when it is first turned on, GMail, Google Translate, Google Maps, Google Drive, Play, until Google + and YouTube.

All these facilities are provided to users free of charge by Google. However, this has only one purpose, namely that in order to secure his services have users.

For users of Google's Android is at hand. Email will be synchronized and accessed easily. Documents can be opened, edited, saved, or deleted via the Drive. To listen to music, buy movies, applications, books or device can be done within the Play Store.

Photos taken with any handset can be directly uploaded to Google + photo without the long-winded process. Similarly with track page site that has opened on the computer via Chrome for Android as well as vice versa. Everything can be done very easily because of the availability of your Google account in Android.

Google, as is the case with Facebook or Yahoo! is a company whose life of service. Is the use of Google's search results, Plus, Android, and the use of activation emails or advertising is making Google continues to grow and become large.

Android is a tool created to make all the services Google is somehow become increasingly used by anyone. The benefits are the same user, they also felt that having ' attachment ' with Google can do everything fairly easily from the hand.

By making Android open source and can be used and/or modified by all handset hardware vendors around the world, Google has built an ecosystem of its own large enough so it's not easy to be collapsed.

An ecosystem that is built with the help of a hardware vendor, provider phone, developers from around the world with 900 thousand activation number achievements every day. Everything can be achieved simply by making Android into an open source product.

With reference to all that Android will be the last discourse of a closed source product it was no longer justified. And back to the question until when will Android be open source?

Refers to the agreement made with the Government of China between Google when Motorola Mobility acquisition process, the answer is at least the next five years. But with all the reasons above, the answer is--most likely--forever.
