For Developers, RIM Change Screen Resolution BB10

notice of written Research in Motion (RIM) on the blog "devblog.blackberry.com" dated August 16, explaining that Blackberry devices 10 full-touch was the first to be released will have a screen resolution of 1280 x 768.

Further, Canada has been the origin of manufacturers set the standard two standard resolution for Blackberry devices in the future based on the type of input methods, namely:

* Full-touch: 1280 x 720 (16: 9 aspect ratio)
* With the keyboard: 720 x 720 (aspect ratio 1: 1)

Resolution number to device full-touch of 1280 x 720 is different from the previous figure of 1280 x 768 pegged at 10 Blackberry device that is shared on the Dev Alpha developer applications.

It is, according to RIM, caused by the process of making Blackberry 10 already had run so that Blackberry devices 10 full-touch first will have a screen resolution of 1280 x 768. However, afterwards, the resolution of these devices would be pegged at 1280 x 720.

Determination of two standard resolution is done on the basis of input from the developer of the application.

Later, developers have to choose between two options: designing application version is different for the two types of Blackberry devices 10 full-touch, or keep using one version for the two devices, but suffered a 24 pixel in letterboxing each side because of the difference in resolution.
