Be Alert! Android Malware threat Jumped 3 Times
Results of research conducted security firm Kaspersky Labs shows, malicious applications on Android and the like have surged threefold over the next three months. Recorded, there are new malware code bits 14.900 in Android.
From these figures, 49 per cent of them Trojans ' multi-function ', so that when they get into the cell phone or tablet, they could ' suck ' the contact list and download content on the device the user unknowingly.
More than half the other malware is divided between SMS Trojan and malware that often takes over control the device in full.
"In the near future, we estimate there will be a more effective malware and malicious sweep Android," said Yuri Namestnikov, Senior Malware Analyst at Kaspersky Lab.
He says, if seen from the trend of malware nowadays, chances are the perpetrators of cyber crime will do the attacks to its more personalized. Especially, attacks like this target model of personal data such as credit card details.
