Google Set Up A Free Internet

According to Google, one of the reasons why the businessman/entrepreneur in developing countries have not been willing to utilize the internet to expand their business is still high price of internet bandwidth.

Unfortunately, the high price of internet services are not coupled with sufficient income for entrepreneurs in developing countries, in particular for small and medium entrepreneurs (SMEs). Many small entrepreneurs who eventually decided to sell products traditionally, only through the store.

Aware of the price of internet bandwidth is still high, Google is seeking free internet service called Free Zone. Free internet service is intended for users of mobile phones, not through the desktop PC.

"Seventy percent of cell phones are there in an emerging market can already online. Unfortunately, these mobile users do not purchase data services, "said Nelson Mattos, Vice President of Product Engineering for & Europe and Emerging Markets.

Although free, Free Zone users can not open all sites. There are only three services which can be accessed by the user, i.e. Gmail, Google Plus, and Google Search.

By using Google Search, Google search engine, the user can search for the desired content for free. Uniquely, the user is still allowed to open links with search results.

Any user can open and read electronic messages in Gmail, Google's e-mail service, for free.

"When you access Gmail using the Free Zone, users not only can read your e-mail. They can also reply to and forward the message, "said Mattos.

Users can access Google's social networking service Plus. Almost all features of Google Plus the PC version, such as adding friends in the circle of friendship and commenting, can be done via this Free Zone service.

Unfortunately, this service is only available on the Philippines. When asked when this service is available in Indonesia, Google still did not want to answer it.
